29 April 2005 - we just started our gridteam. Now we are trying to reach more people on our campus. We want to help..

----------------------------------------Welcome to the World Community Grid. You need to identify your team name and what campus you are wanting to recruit from. You might also read about the World Community Grid Partners program at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/about_us/our_partners.html. Perhaps your school might consider joining as a Partner -- that would probably go a long way in aiding your efforts to recruit from your campus. One of the Community Admins has also written a recruiting letter which might be of assistance in drawing additional members. Good luck with your efforts and let us know here how your efforts are going or if you need additional help with ideas for your recruiting. I saw your other post and now know that you go to Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey, and, through that, I was able to find out that your team name is Bilkent. You might find it easier to recruit members by setting up a signature line for you and your other members much like the ones we at "MyOnlineTeam" use (see mine at the bottom of this post). You can do this by going to http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/myprofile and selecting "Change my signature". I would recommend that you use the other thread you started with the name "Bilken" and that you and your team mates actively post to the thread so that others see that you are active. |
