Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Thanks for the reassurance. Hopefully they will decide in a way that means they dont have to come back to it any time soon, so they can concentrate on other matters! There are a few people that already have double figure years on at least one project, including HCC; they will want something to aim for too! The implementation of the first three badges reminds me of the IP4 address range setup and statements such as "Nobody will ever need more than 640k RAM!"

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Think beyond those badges, the certificates will be the acknowledgment. Maybe the forum titles could get a sub, millionaire X Y Z, whatever, so that bit does get shared on the forums. No idea what's brewing in that department.

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Well done Hypernova applause
Only 2 more to go now, plus that new illusive addition (DDD2), that appeared and disappeared like a bad Beta batch - but it doesn't count just yet wink
- does now that someone has one.

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

martin64 congrats for your silver.
I am back on FA@H for the theoretical 5 year badge and get this project moving biggrin
Don't despair regarding DDDT2 WU's. We mere mortals are not part of the HCS, so we must wait until their hunger is appeased before we are allowed to eat. wink
Got only one long ago, probably slipped by error to me. Nothing in view yet. But they will come. THEY MUST COME !!!!! biggrin

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

fredski, why don't you try to target all on sapphire for one project then to the other etc.
By going all in parallel you will wait many many months get all the emeralds in one shot and then many months after all sapphires in one shot and then it is finished. So only one event over six months, and then one event after 12 months. By going sapphire one after the other you get more badges distributed over time and so shorter periods between badges.
I find this more rewarding then nothing for a long period and then bang all at once.

I would have thought that that your 300,000 points a day would make you think that you ARE a member of HCS.

Is a personel thing, can't stand to see any project idle, not all boxes run everything, several need split projects on duel cores, etc. btw when I say 6 months, I mean all to emerald by then, eta 24 aug 2010 @ 23:47 cool biggrin
