I've been slip-sliding away for a while now. As of the lunchtime update I finally descended to a points ranking below 2000. It won't be long before my results ranking drops there too. But for meagre resources (with no usable GPUs) I'm not a malcontent. Congratulations to all those soaring past me! But you have something that can't be taken away no matter how fast others are...a complete set of badges! Congrats! |

I contribute what I can to what I consider to be a worthy cause. One day I will upgrade my kit and perhaps move back up a little, but I'm not investing specially as some do. I don't do it for the badges. |

I think we're getting a little off topic, but I appreciate your kind words. Nevertheless, I happen to be one of those who (a) joined early and (b) chooses to spread their cycles over all the projects and not just focus on one or two of them. Do not disparage those who only joined recently, nor those who have a personal reason for focusing in one place, nor those who only donate a couple of CPU hours per day. Every donation of CPU time to WCG deserves praise, including yours. I am proud to help, and I'm not trying to be humble -- if I was I wouldn't have posted in the first place! |

Great going Gil... hang in there, you'll make it to your milestone. I don't know how many times I've been worried about make it to a target and so far, I've always been able to do it.
