Under the guise of financial crisis, "We gave all your money to the banks to stop them going bankrupt." Welcome the United States of Europe for which no-one has voted. Like a well oiled wheel it's turning nicely n.b. this is not "off-thread" as this whole thing is political Plan A "Keep on keeping the Serfs down" Take note of what is being agreed to in Durban right this minute DURBAN, South Africa -- “No high hopes for Durban.” “Binding treaty unlikely.” “No deal this year.” Thus ran the headlines. The profiteering UN bureaucrats here think otherwise. Their plans to establish a world government paid for by the West on the pretext of dealing with the non-problem of “global warming” are now well in hand. As usual, the mainstream media have simply not reported what is in the draft text which the 194 states parties to the UN framework convention on climate change are being asked to approve. Behind the scenes, throughout the year since Cancun, the now-permanent bureaucrats who have made highly-profitable careers out of what they lovingly call “the process” have been beavering away at what is now a 138-page document. Its catchy title is "Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-Term Cooperative Action Under the Convention -- Update of the amalgamation of draft texts in preparation of [one imagines they mean 'for'] a comprehensive and balanced outcome to be presented to the Conference of the Parties for adoption at its seventeenth session: note by the Chair.” In plain English, these are the conclusions the bureaucracy wants. The contents of this document, turgidly drafted with all the UN's skill at what the former head of its documentation center used to call “transparent impenetrability”, are not just off the wall – they are lunatic. http://www.climatedepot.com/a/14072/Exclusive...Cdeg-drop-in-global-temps |

Gerald I had just read the draft and came to that conclusion
----------------------------------------With that level of disconnect with reality and those declarations of intent If they were uttered by the ordinary citizen they would be sectioned They are an imminent danger to themselves and society. Earlier this evening I spent some time in the dark.(Sun set at 3:51pm in the afternoon today where I live) There was a local power outage. I live in a flat entirely driven by electricity. No heating, no hot water, no lighting, no cups of coffee, no means to cook food, no washing machine, no iron, no freezer/refrigerator, no telephone service, no broadband, no radio, no tv , no rechargeable anything. Last but by no means least no computers running and no research being contributed to the global knowledge that is the World Community Grid. A great deal of the health providing and the sanitary benefits of electricity disappear like the heat out of my roof on a sub zero night.. as soon as it goes off A brief 45 minute vision of our future if this lunacy continues to be given free reign Dave [Edit 1 times, last edit by David Autumns at Dec 10, 2011 11:08:25 PM] |

----------------------------------------The 194-party conference agreed to start negotiations on a new accord that would put all countries under the same legal regime to enforce their commitments to control greenhouse gases. It would take effect by 2020 at the latest. yet more of that fantastic democracy I don't remember voting for that either Do you? |

0.03902% of the atmosphere is CO2 and this is the thermostat that controls the Global Mean Temperature. The Moon is made of Cheese and there are Fairies at the bottom of everyone's garden.

Good news. The talented strategists left the UNFCCC team before COP17 in Durban. The A-graders saw the trainwreck coming and moved on.
----------------------------------------Everyone knows it’s a herculean task to get 190-odd countries to sign anything, and with a typical pragmatical approach the UN drafting team have gone for … not just a new “International Court” (crikey!) but rights for Mother Earth (can we be sued by a rock?), and oh boy, the holy grail, the whole kit and caboodle … we demand Peace On Earth, and a Partridge in a Pear Tree, as Part 47a, and starting by morning tea tomorrow. Monckton reports that the funereal collapsing Durban talks still held the highest of ambitions. Godlike even. The real action behind the posters of parrots and pleas to save pygmy corals, or spotted limpets is the plea to make some unelected bureaucrats the totalitarian Kings of The World. In part it’s chilling, a New International Court — which could presumably try you for crimes against coastlines, clouds, or (more likely) against endangered windfarms. Those with their hands on the legal wheel want the power to direct money (was that $1.6 Trillion?) from the richest nations to their friends, patrons, or pet causes. If they became the anointed Kings, it would swiftly become a crime to speak doubts of climate models upon which billions of trades depends. The darkest evil always comes cloaked with helpful intentions. Fortunately, what’s left of the UN strategic team is even lower caliber than B-grade, beyond Z, somewhere into hexadecimal. Ladies and Gentlemen, the grown-ups in the IPCC-support-team left the party sometime after Copenhagen, and the Z++ team are left to guard the bones. No one can take this wild ambit claim seriously. http://joannenova.com.au/2011/12/durban-wild-...thing-arother-agreed-too/ |

The GW fiasco has gone far Far beyond lunacy. What can ordinary citizens do to stop it? Stop breathing. A parasite that has been completely overlooked in nature is the Parasitum Politicianus, or it's shape changer name, Constipatus Rectumus. It's blood brother is Pontificus Rectumus. Or blowing smoke out thier ****. It enters the mainstream host society by hook and by crook by pretending to be beneficial to the host network. After infection it sucks the body of the host network bone dry and leaves it gasping for Freedom, Liberty and economic sustenance. It is particularly difficult to purge as its infestation is considered by some in the host network, usually also somewhat parasitical, to be needed, and so defended against purging by the remaining majority host network. Parasitum Politicianus is particularly hard to purge as it leaves it's host too weak to fight off it's infestation. |

Just trying to raise my quota of posts---We all know AGW is real
----------------------------------------ELIZABETH JACKSON: The United Nations climate talks in Durban are going into extra time and there's a gloomy assessment emerging of the shape of a final deal. It seems like the big emitters China, Indian and the United States have all combined to prevent any prospect of a deal that carries the phrase, 'legally binding'. A final communiqu is expected sometime today. http://www.abc.net.au/am/content/2011/s3388168.htm |
