For anyone who has managed to get any of the long (50+ hour) type A DDDT2 WUs, keep in mind that they don't checkpoint often - maybe once an hour. If the WU gets suspended a few times, you can lose some noticible crunching time. All four of mine ran between 33 and 35 hours on a 2.5ghz C2D. Checkpoints just about every 40 minutes. Now if they would get out of PV, that would be nice. - D |

If you look at the thread about Phase 2 Work Units, you will see that only a couple percent of their work units are known to be long in duration and also that this was known before turning them out to us to crunch. |
