Good Moringing MOT. Colder here (23°F} We are back to our balmy tropical weather (39F).70F here and mostly sunny.  Rain forecast for tomorrow and temperatures in the high 50s to low 60s. Our season of "not summer" may be over in a few weeks.- D |

IT DID NOT RAIN YESTERDAY!!!!!!! I hope you don't live on one of those unstable hillsides DM. That has been a lot of rain, It got up to 60F too. 100% chance of rain today and tonight though. Good morning MOT. Well, we've had 9.53" since Jan 1st but nothing torential. No ponding yet. No, there is no chance of slides up here and it drains into the streams and rivers well. My "soil" (to use the term in it's broadest form ) is grey granite rocks stuck together with red clay. A gardener's nightmare but very stable. I don't mind the rain as we always need it. However the dark, dreary sky and the continual dampness does get a bit depressing. Rain gear is the "fashion statement" of this season. |
