Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

Ok, a change of plans: SCC is back and is going FAST (already at 17%). So switching to SCC and see if I can make it to sapphire before it runs out again.

Something strange is going on with ECDs from WCG & % on SCC1...it jumped from 28th Jul to 16th Aug something like 17%!

Check here: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewpostinthread?post=547756

So that project is "galloping" to the end soon! biggrin
Still have it selected, as the BETAs might give new project some slowdown from my next badge in SCC1...or not, but still have some hope! wink

Other projects I can make it...just this one is...we'll see!

Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

I did a quick detour and picked up a bronze badge from MIP. But I'm back to crunching SCC, still have 180 days to crunch to get the sapphire badge. Never a dull moment biggrin

Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

Well my hunt currently on badges takes me on all projects, except OET...even though I do like & love OET project, can't get any more recognition for doing it!

So my other badges seems to come slow...but will get there! ;)

Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

Personally, now that it looks as though the pace on SCC has slowed (due to the new project), I've decided to round off FAH2 to Sapphire - then it's completed as far as I'm concerned.

Then, I'll move SCC onto 7/8ths of my current goal (Sapphire) - leaving me just ~90 days to round that out. I'll also do the same with OZ, then turn my attention fully to MIP (well, at least to Emerald - at which point, I'll more likely round OZ off to Sapphire).

Decisons, decisions...

I keep it simple.
I crunch anything they throw my way, thinking any health problem is a serious matter, especially for the patients.
Once rose deltavee managed my crunching beautifully, earning me classy silver badges
- now after my break, it's a hodgepodge ... d oh
Where are you, deltavee? I miss you coffee

Well, I did another detour and picked the silver from MIP, but I'm back to crunching SCC again, chasing after the sapphire. It's going to be a little long trip since I'm down to one cruncher... still have to plow through 111 days to make it. Such is the fun of crunching.

Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

Made it to sapphire for SCC (YooHoo), so now what do I crunch ? After a mental struggle between ruby for MIP and sapphire for FAAH2, I decided that I would go after FAAH2 since it has a closer ETA date (June 2018). So now starting on the long trek to the blue badge for FAAH2.
*UPDATE (Dec 25, 2017): Since FAAH2 has a deadline of 24 hr, I will have to crunch half MIP and half FAAH2 (I only have 4 thread processor), which will probably take a longer time to make it to sapphire sad.
*UPDATE (Dec 30, 2017): I figured out how to only crunch FAAH2, so my 4 thread machine is solely dedicated to FAAH2.

Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

For me, I'm aiming to turn my MIP badge Emerald (~60 CPU days), then concentrate on SCC - firstly, to get that Sapphire (~254 CPU days needed), and then, I'm very tempted to continue and try and reach for my very first 5 year Diamond badge.

Now, as things stand, this could well be cutting it close - so, what I'm hoping for, is that at least 1 new project launches in the first half of next year in order to slow SCC down a bit...
