Re: Wohoo! Got my first DDDT Phase 2 WU

Just got my first one late last night, and a second early this morning, it is looking like they are finally comming out.

Only 10 hours of run time between the two, but a good start anyways.

Re: Wohoo! Got my first DDDT Phase 2 WU

Holy cow. I've been away quite a long time it seems. Been busy with other stuff and haven't checked the forums in over a month!
I'm curious to find out why, even though in my profiles I have the option checked to add new projects as they come, DDDT2 was not added to my profiles. Strange. They are added now. I'm far behind others, but oh well. As long as I was still getting my cancer WU's I wasn't really worried.

Don't worry too much about being "far behind". The work units are few, and while it seems many already have their badge, more are still waiting.

After over 1 month, I'm stuck on 7 WCG days. smile

Yeah, I think that was the case with me. I was half asleep at the time I found the addition and couldn't remember later if it was selected or I selected it, but I still think the latter. confused

Looks like there is still some work to do on the opt-in code.

Re: Wohoo! Got my first DDDT Phase 2 WU

Yes, the auto-opt in is not 100% waterproof as you just confirmed. It's known. The logic may look first at the My Projects part, then the devices, but what happens if the My projects part is auto-ticked and nothing causing it to pass to the device profiles? So I have it ticked in the device profiles only, which worked.

Re: Wohoo! Got my first DDDT Phase 2 WU

What does it take to get any work on this project. By shear accident I got five the other four calculated and gave me time the fifth vanished like the wind. Since then nothing. I see folks with silver, bronze awards, and hear of others must minutes away and I can't seem to get any. I have the following processor

buffer set to one day, with multiple contacts per day. the only constant i see in the log is this one:

I'm beginning to think this isn't a real project just something to get folks to talk about.

as they said in the 80's comercial "Where's the BEEF?"

Re: Wohoo! Got my first DDDT Phase 2 WU

Have a look around in the forum Mike.
There are heaps of postings about it.
The project is intermittent.
Patience required.

Cheers

The beef is being tested again... that's what I would anyway when coming from the US. Too many growth hormones given to ingest to the bovines. biggrin
