----------------------------------------on big boxes shown in screenshot May 5, 2010 1:03:33 PM-Running WCG, everything but HFCC. Since ticking HPF2 the right now snapshot is 34 PV / 8 errors. Identical other than cpu% as I have to throttle  Box1 has 15 / 4 100% Box2 has 13 / 0 62% box3 has 2 / 2 64% box4 has 4 / 2 60% all other apps clean as a whistle with the the occasional (and expected) inconclusive.  edit- OS Wserver2008R2, Client 6.10.43 64 bit  [Edit 1 times, last edit by pramo at May 6, 2010 12:24:47 PM] |

Just sent up my first WU from my I7 system without that dreaded comp error with this new App and it says "pending vaildation" and no "error" this time.. if the trend holds and all is vaild means I will be pushing 10 threads to this project and not just 2 only from my trusty E8600 Core 2 duo with XP Pro.

Not sure what is happening after some successful submissions getting the comp errors again... once again production on the I7 is halted for this project...

That was something I believe happens when you are running the FA@H project at the same time.. they seem to smash heads.. This is one of the longest toughest running projects on the grid. noticed newer workunits running over 8 hours on my I7 860 got Win 7 64 Bit... 8 GB RAM on it.. HD space not an issue at all.. |

I just got another unit that errored out, and I don't have any FA@H units on my machine.

Ok, could be 2 other issues.. currently Boinc 6.2.28 is the supported version on WCG, running the one you currently have installed could lead to this error.. also you may want to check user and drive permissions on the computer.. this may also potentially cause the error.. especially if Boinc is running as a service.. |

I'm running 6.10.18 64bit per the recommended version at http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download_all.php
I'm running with full admin permissions. Again, I have 88 days of work on this project, and nothing has been changed on my end. Should I further downgrade to 6.2.28? |
