No big goals here other than increasing my output, right now its about 1 year worth per month and im far from happy

Hello everybody!
----------------------------------------I am just finishing my machine but haven't been home for some days so I have some configuration to do still. I now have 16GB of Quad Channel RAM in 1866MHz, so I want to take a share of it (don't know how much is needed for WCG-projects though) and use as the BOINC data directory, with write-back to HDD on system shutdown. This RAM-disk should speed up the computation somewhat. Regarding my goals...well I managed just to reach 4 years of contribution by the end of 2011 and passed 5M points. I am hoping to be able to double that by end of this year. I do not know how the new PC will perform, as I still have overclocking and stability testing left to do, but it should be seriously faster than my last machine. Hey I have some good news!
----------------------------------------I started a diet a week ago and have lost 4 pounds, not the best part, I have type II diabeties (no shots, Im just fat) Well Diabeties affects people differently and my eyes were going bad. Now in just a few days I can see so much clearer! I prob wont need glasses for a few more years now  Three day work week, then I PROMISE I'll get the 4th comp built!  |
