----------------------------------------Have you ever tryied GPU crunching in parallel to WCG? I'm trying MilkyWay on my ATI card already since 3 weeks. Works really good and doesn't use CPU, which goes to WCG. Amazing how powerfull a GPU is - it generates 93% of my BOINC RAC (all my CPUs - 10 cores - generate only 7%)... Crazy...  But I'm still not sure if I will keep it or not... If there would be some project for GPU like WCG. Counting stars is nor really my stuff. I thing people from "Nutritious Rice for the World" are working on a GPU client... Let's see... |

krakatuk, I would be interested to know by how much your energy consumption has increased due to the added GPU crunching.

Hypernova, that would be really interesting to compare.
----------------------------------------I have an ATI HD4850 and expect energy consumpsion to be about 100W more with 100% GPU load. But I'll try to measure it somehow. |
