Anyone else getting a lot of errors on the DDDT2 project? I have 4 out of 30 WUs that completed; the rest errored out.

Basically all the jobs reported from that machine from 8/17/10 05:42:38, UTC time have failed.
----------------------------------------Automotive response 1: Boot the computer Then, show us an error log from the Result Status page. Then tell us, was LEN executing this project correctly before? Then, if the issue continues after the boot, was there anything that changed on or before 5:42 UTC equivalent time? Virus update, big Windows update (received 48MB here), anything else? Let us know

I've rebooted the computer.
The errors go back to 12 Aug on this machine, looking at the full history. ts05_ a072_ sr78a0_ 1-- LEN0086 Error 8/12/10 02:54:32 8/12/10 08:23:30 0.00 0.0 / 0.0 I don't recall anything unusual that happened around that time, but I'll keep watching to see if the reboot fixed things. If not, I'll have to turn off DDDT2 for this box. Thanks Sekerob! |

This side the Italian Windows update pack arrived on the 13th, the English is usually several days before. Mine asked to update and I did, then suddenly had three fails that day as I had postponed to boot (like 3.5 weeks none stop uptime). Since, it's again 100% validity.

Update -- I got another DDDT2 in the LEN box, and another computation error.

Doubt that makes a difference. Let the other tasks finish and do a project reset. That will force a fresh download of all the science apps and fix any owner issues.

Heck -- I may go back to the 6.2 release on this machine- maybe it doesn't like the 6.10 version of BOINC :) FWIW I have several friends who run Vista tell me they had issues with 6.10.58. One had to revert to 5.10.45 to get Vista to behave.

Not heard of. Might be the UAC acting up which should not be if installing as a service/protected execution mode.

im running 6.10.56 on my vista with out any issues...
----------------------------------------my windows xp with a slightly older version did run into a block of Errored WU's in a row (like 12) but i haven't been running into many errors and all the errors were less than 1 min  |
