Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

We had a very good discussion with our collaborators at Stanford the other day. We discussed and outlined improvements to our CEPDB query engine and other topics of importance from the experimentalist perspective.

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

We are currently updating the infrastructure for CEPDB to Django 1.4 and MySQL 5.5.25 to make use of some of their latest features.

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

We still see pretty bad returns these days with about half the amount of computing time we got about a month ago – hope we will recover soon. At the same time, IBM is still having some problems with the WCG servers, so watch out for their announcements.

A very nice webpage on the Materials Genome Initiative which also highlights the Harvard Clean Energy Project:

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

The other day we had Prof. Greg Beran from UC Riverside visit the Aspuru-Guzik Group. He gave a talk on “Predicting Molecular Crystal Structures and Properties with Quantum Chemistry“ – so his work is obviously particularly interesting for the Clean Energy Project. We had great conversations with Greg and hope that we can expand our interactions in the future.
