Greetings all,
We have successfully completed the testing and prepping of the system for the updated version of Help Conquer Cancer. This application update will decrease the runtime required for work units to complete. The change is only for Windows and will show up as version 6.42. Thanks, -Uplinger |

My first two units on 32 bit Windows XP
Q9550 4.15Ghz Not bad, .77 and .83 hours, both under 50 minutes(I actually watched the last one finish at 49:59). It appears it may be faster than Linux now. Are you sure it was only compiler changes? Nice Well I tried to run some, but mine still take 4 hours. What I haven't done yet is reset, I will do that soon when my current tasks are completed. Are we supposed to just use the one step 'reset' button on the left? The Boinc manager is 6.10#58 so I don't think that it has to be reinstalled.  |
