And now the bad news: sad

The UK team has lost a Points ranking place to Crunching@EVGA and will lose a Results ranking place to the same team in tonight's update. angry They out crunched us by a massive 6,670,462 points in yesterday's figures and by 14,684 results.

And I see endellion has started the team UK cat appreciation society!
I've just got the one at the moment, darling little black beauty that she is. Definitely helps keep me warm of an evening sat at the computer.

There's nowt quite like it. Mine are all black as well, matching the floors and stairs, all the better to break your neck over them smile

EVGA make graphics cards don't they? Must have some loyal customers. I wish I could justify a nice new GPU but I can't really. The only half-decent one we have is on the black list.

Had the NEW PSU in the quaddie go down this morning, had a new replacement one put in, but lost a good 6 1/2 hours on it sad

Lets hope this one works for a little longer?

Somewhat surprisingly we staved off the Crunching@EVGA challenge to our Results ranking for another day. shock Given that the gap is 2,864 and yesterday they out crunched us by 14,684 it's only delaying the inevitable. sad


SekeRob suggests that whilst there are approx 50 days currently remaining for HCC, another research group has submitted their library for inclusion, meaning the project will extend well into 2013. smile

The dominant feature is the switch out of HFCC to HCC, presumably as a result of fully available GPU WUs for the latter.
A small uptake of the (limited) new work available for HCMD2 in the last couple of days.
