Re: UK

All but completed the necessary WUs required to turn my remaining four badges from Gold to Ruby, though the P/V gaoler will determine exactly when it happens. biggrin

Now it's back to a broad 10 project mix since C4CW, target 7, WUs are now available, maybe 11 if the DDDT2 rain ever falls! wink

Which leads to an off the wall question - Which film musical featured the song If the Rain's Got to Fall?

Closing out the 2012 spreadsheets and opening up those for 2013 is a lengthy process and will delay production of a monthly (and annual) stats report.

The hard work is done and hopefully the report will be completed tomorrow. Handling a multitude of calculations such as =LEFT(A2,FIND(":",A2)-1)+LEFT(B2,FIND(":",B2)-1)+(RIGHT(A2,8)+RIGHT(B2,8)+LEFT(RIGHT(A2,12),3)+LEFT(RIGHT(B2,12),3)>=365)&":"&TEXT(MOD(INT( RIGHT(A2,8)+RIGHT(B2,8)+LEFT(RIGHT(A2,12),3)+LEFT(RIGHT(B2,12),3)),365),"000")& TEXT(RIGHT(A2,8)+RIGHT(B2,8),":hh:mm:ss") (and thats just to add 2 RunTimes together) has left me brain dead so I feel justified in broaching a few bottles of Bishop's Finger tonight. wink biggrin

Re: UK

Morning Team and Happy New Year.

I'm back up to speed after a drop in processing over Christmas as the laptop was turned off for a few days. Hoping to turn my golds into rubies in the next month or so, then pick up my current ruby project (HPF2) and charge forward to Emerald. However, it'll all get dropped if the DDDT2 rain ever falls, as I havn't crunched a single unit for that yet and I'm keen to get some form of badge before it finishes.

In terms of team stats, I notice that I've now crunched more points and results for Team UK than any of my previous teams. However, as RT seems to be the measure of the man, I'm only 140 CPU days from hitting 3 years and 5 days, which out-crunches my previous 2 teams (where I decided to move on after 3 years). My first team took over 9 years of RT, so that'll be a long target to hit - perhaps something for me to aim for by the end of 2013.

Anyway... that's my new year update. Well done to everyone who has recently hit milestones and great work by Jonnieb/statto for all his gathering, collating, processing, analysis and reporting.

...scratch that - Just realised that C4CW is back up and running for ~15-20 days and I have a silver badge to improve upon!

Re: UK

With a bit of free time over the holidays, I had a play with the app_info.xml file, and my GPUs are running flat out now, instead of being idle for 2/3 of the time. Seems to be working OK, I had my first million point day yesterday.

Also, I'd like to wish everyone in the team a Happy New Year, and offer a warm welcome to all those who have joined the team recently.

And many thanks to jonnieb-uk for his continued hard work - I always look forward to the stats updates. I hope the Bishop's Finger didn't hurt your head too much.

Where did you see 15-20 days?, I can only find that it says 4 million work units have been released... I am hoping for more as i'm trying for 5 years.

Good going on that amount of Points Soong smile

Congrats on an awesome achievement! I'd be interested to know what tweaks you made to that file, to get that level of work out of your GPUs...

Re: UK

Hi Thargor, I tried a number of settings, but settled on 0.5 CPU, 0.125 GPU. 8 threads per GPU (16 in total). That seems to keep them all moving along nicely without them all becoming CPU bound at the same time.

And what GPU(s) are you using? Think you've mentioned it previously, but searching back through 50+ pages here seems slower than just asking...
