I've got 6 devices, all dual core, (2 of them laptops) running CEP2 exclusively with download set to 4. I've had absolutely no issues with Hard Drive access. Indeed, Win XP SP3 system does more accessing of the drives than CEP2 does.
I have no hesitation in recommending CEP2 to any cruncher.
