Still working to optimize my graphics card.
Running 7 CPU+GPU threads and 1 CPU thread.
With 7 threads it takes as much as 28+ minutes to complete 1 GPU WU.
That is very close to the limitation of ~30 minutes allowed by the scheduler to complete a GPU WU.
Exceeding that 30 minutes is a sure error.
The time is about 118 minutes to complete 1 CPU WU.

The problem with optimizing the GPU is that WUs are not counted until they are validated so it is difficult to compare days.
The count is all over the place so I have been using the Avg. work done on the BOINC Manager Projects tab as it updates in near real time.

I believe that the results may have peaked at 6 CPU+GPU threads and 2 CPU threads.
At that setting it takes about 22 minutes per CPU+GPU WU and 113 minutes per CPU WU.

In the meantime the years of run time are adding up for HCC and I have already hit my goal of 10 years.

Did you know that on the BOINC Manager Statistics you can click on an area and draw a rectangle?
The area in the rectangle will be enlarged.

If you click on a point in the graph a + cross-hair is shown with the average and date.

In your cc_config.xml under options you can add

<save_stats_days>90</save_stats_days>

which will increase the stats to 90 days.
It gives a better picture of where you are going with Averages.
