Hello, a lot of "non concluant" WU's for Faah recently.
----------------------------------------Is it normal, is there a problem ? Consequently (?), the WUs which were validated with one computer are now often asking for a second one... For instance: faah28830_ ZINC03303576_ x3NF6b_ 00_ 2-- - En cours 16/01/12 10:57:43 20/01/12 10:57:43 0,00 0,0 / 0,0 faah28830_ ZINC03303576_ x3NF6b_ 00_ 1-- - Pas de réponse 12/01/12 10:54:03 16/01/12 10:54:03 0,00 0,0 / 0,0 faah28830_ ZINC03303576_ x3NF6b_ 00_ 0-- 640 Non concluant 08/01/12 19:45:55 12/01/12 10:48:09 6,77 194,8 / 0,0 faah28865_ ZINC13005874_ x3NF6b_ 00_ 1-- - En cours 13/01/12 13:16:51 17/01/12 13:16:51 0,00 0,0 / 0,0 faah28865_ ZINC13005874_ x3NF6b_ 00_ 0-- 640 Non concluant 09/01/12 16:17:08 13/01/12 12:59:10 3,87 109,2 / 0,0 faah28960_ ZINC22787278_ 1_ x3NF6b_ 00_ 1-- - En cours 15/01/12 01:42:15 19/01/12 01:42:15 0,00 0,0 / 0,0 faah28960_ ZINC22787278_ 1_ x3NF6b_ 00_ 0-- 640 Non concluant 11/01/12 06:39:52 15/01/12 01:33:52 5,02 142,6 / 0,0 faah29001_ ZINC58265685_ 1_ x3NF6b_ 00_ 1-- - En cours 16/01/12 04:06:27 20/01/12 04:06:27 0,00 0,0 / 0,0 faah29001_ ZINC58265685_ 1_ x3NF6b_ 00_ 0-- 640 Non concluant 13/01/12 04:25:05 16/01/12 04:03:16 4,08 116,2 / 0,0 [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jan 16, 2012 3:47:52 PM] |

It's normal.
----------------------------------------Every now and then single redundancy projects like FAAH or HFCC(and C4CW I believe) do this. It should turn valid when the wingmen return their copies. AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz |

Yes, every now and again, I'm certainly hit with a "wave" of Inconclusives - and I suspect everyone also goes through a phase of them... Then, thankfully, you won't see one for many-a-week.
----------------------------------------Thankfully, I can only ever recall seeing two Inconclusives go Invalid - and that was due to the GFAM application being upgraded to try and resolve an issue with wingmen going to different CPU types. If/whenever this happens, you'll get half the points and all of the time allocated to your totals. ![]() |

All the FAAH WUs from one of my machines have been inconclusive for the last several days. They've all ended up valid, but it's wierd. I don't know whether it has to do with my testing BOINC 7.0.15, or if it's just coincidence.

Interesting. There's different file compression handling and async processing of larger zip files in 7.0.12/.15. So far with 7.0.17 and CEP2/DSFL/GFAM/SN2S no issues. Will try FAAH and HFCC [have now fetched some], but suspect they will anyhow go into PV or Inc state since they have never been run from this device i.e. no reliability record.
