Looks like the end is really coming now. Not much new work on this project in the last 12 hours. Looks like we're entering a cleanup phase. About 30 mins ago, server aborts were sent on the WUs with truncated names that were still in my queue. I've just received a couple of normal jobs with 4-day deadlines instead of 10 days. We have fixed this. We aborted all 'in-progress' truncated jobs (which would fail) and changed things so that no new truncated jobs will be created. |

I assume that you can just rename all the jobs with truncated names, then release them again?

I know this was discussed right in the early days of this project, although having 2 * 'clustersOccur' strings in the WU's, certainly won't help things...

The deadlines for the remaining work units continue to get shorter and shorter. This is as sure a sign as any that there is very little left in the hopper.

Good, but hope it's not a runaway "shorter and shorter" 40% or seeder rule gone wild and eventually tasks getting deadlines shorter than the actual runtime.
