Re: CISPA- (sorry for discussing politics)

We did manage to stop SOPA with the online petitions, although I do believe that Google and Wiki putting messages on their sites is what did the job.

My girlfriend actually posted on her Facebook account about this bill, and her, as well as many of her friends stated that they will delete their Facebook accounts if this goes through.

I also do not believe us little people have much say in the matter, but I refuse to go down without a "fight". A personal one anyways. I would at least like to know, myself, that I tried.

No need to apologize--There is always a rotten egg in a barrel of apples--I did sign the petition a few days ago--but it has already passed House passes CISPA cyberthreat sharing bill, despite privacy concerns
One opponent has expressed worries that the bill would create a 'Wild West of information sharing' http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/922663...terworld+Security+News%29

Re: CISPA- (sorry for discussing politics)

I am truly sorry that I posted this.
Nice try. If you were truly apologetic, then you would not have started the thread. It's a fallacy to think you can apologize in advance.

Of the nearly 100,000 daily crunchers here at WCG, there will be at least 3 who want to discuss your American-centred politics.

How come you ever so often choose to express yourself in a manner that comes across as upleasant?
Is there something the matter we can help you with?

That's very true, GeraldRube rose
I must have an unfortunate talent for bumping into these types, here, there and everywhere

for each of them, there are hundreds of agreeable ones tongue

Facebook accounts can't be deleted only "deactivated". Sad but true.
Anyway, I've signed lots of these petitions. Hopefully it will help but somehow I doubt.

Little people like us are making a huge difference at WCG.
