Switching Hard Drives

I have the project running on my SSD hard drive. I would like to switch it over to my regular hard drive, but don't want to lose data or have completed projects lost etc. The only thing I know to do is to uninstall it, and reinstall it in the correct (non SSD) drive. Is there a better way that insures no data loss?

Thanks

Klint

Re: Switching Hard Drives

Simply uninstall, move [or copy] the data directory to the place of choice, then install, making sure to point the program at the correct data directory. See screenshot, second frame http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q210/Seker...61045InstallerScreens.png

There's hackable ways, but not going to tell you as those are fail prone, to include that part of this method no longer works with the client 7 series [they removed the code, rather than leaving it in as legacy / backward compatibility]
