From my part, one main Word : STUPIDITY !!!
people have forgotten money is not like coal, not need also to be in silver or gold .... money is a link for exchange and its single value should be CONFIDENCE !!!!! I am a numismatist and I love Tokens QE1 and QE2 have failed ... of course, let's go for a QE3 crazy world !!!! |

Looks like ammo will be the next currency to hoard in the event of a total collaps, which seems to be imminent, but hope it doesnt get that way.

in europe or US, i am not optimistic for the future !!!! the monetary problem is global and truly complex, but solutions exist ..... however, western politicians are cowards !

You are missing the point. You would be surrendering U.S. monetary policy to three foreign powers. Do you really think any country would have our best economic interests? Think again. I understand the issue of having currency backed by something of value, but if you want U.S. monetary policy to become more reasonable, in my opinion a change in administrations would greatly help the cause. Debasing a currency has historically never worked well and at some point over time will bring economic trauma. Any questions, please refer to the recent (<25 years) economic histories of Venezuela and Argentina. |

Romney has one good suggestion : Firing Bernanke ....But republicans or democrats don't change the paradigm .... since 1913.
In Europe, the Euro is managed by Germans and China !!!! In france, we have no power to do something. Many states in US prepare emergency plans and their own currency for the dollar collapse. That's the good way !!! |
