Re: JTS 2 Alive - kicking and on the way up

It's fine to have a competitive spirit but to figuratively stamp your foot and leave in a huff when you can't be at the head of the list is a little over the top. laughing

LOL! I love it - figuratively stamp your foot. A perfect description, John :)

Not sure. I haven't forgotten the trait, er teletran comment yet. JC may be on thin ice with me. biggrin

Teletran, you know that I was joking! You actually "founded" our Team "over there".

I'm sure you know where home is. LOL!

Doesn't matter though. Maybe later. cool

Re: JTS 2 Alive - kicking and on the way up

This thread is looking great with all the avatars...Ity is so much easier to follow along the flow of the "smap" that way...It is also good to see all the new members posting so quickly...Starting to feel more like "home" every day....A FYI comment, since we started to really crunch here the daily points total has STAYED over 12 million a day....I like to think we have a hand in that... cool

really want a way of running WCG on a computer with UD for Grid already on it, without having multi-users.

any ideas?

I left UD for Grid on the machines that I'm running WCG. I installed it in a different directory (ie c:\WCG). I also have one machine running WCG using UD Mon and Firedaemon.

Edit:..... And for anyone curious.....JTS 1 was Find a Drug, but I was so pre-occupied with UD that I never really built up much enthusiasm for it.
Was too busy trying to get Team GB off the ground etc. smile

I finally moved over to Patty's team at FaD. I noticed someone named ETHERIA still on JTS 1.... know him/her?

Re: JTS 2 Alive - kicking and on the way up

Nope.......I posted there suggesting he/she may want to move to a more active team.
Don't know if it was replied to.

Any U.K members thinking of a new build.....there are some good "today only" offers on Abit boards....offers good thru the weekend.

The vanilla NF7 at £37 is a bargain......throw a mobile Athlon in and you will be flying along smile

linky

Got my eye on an NF8 cool

Do not go near the NF7-S2 range as they are bios crippled.

LOL. Btw, I just read the DC thread. A little over dramatic, don't you think? Am I to assume some posters are mad (and quitting the project altogether, lol) because the JTS team thread is active and at the top of the forums? Do they not know how to scroll down the page a small way to find their own thread. I think I'm missing the issue here. Is it only the thread at the top of the page that is seen by anyone? Someone please enlighten me as to what the actual problem is.

I just read their thread as well, just to see what the hubbub was about, and agree that it is "a little over dramatic." All I can say is good grief.

Re: JTS 2 Alive - kicking and on the way up

like the fire services when they go on strike in the UK

if they don't like it... then leave... there's 4 other people willing to take your place from you...
