Hello MOT ... Just thought I'd stop by for a few minutes before I go back to the salt mines. I see y'all are getting along just fine.
One of my systems sort of died. It's a laptop that had the backlight go out. I can order a CCFL replacement cheap, but it doesn't look like there's any way to replace it and leave the display functional. I may be able to get an identical system with a fried motherboard and believed-to-be-good display really cheap. We'll see how it goes. Until then, my points may be down for a few days. Hello MOT ... Just thought I'd stop by for a few minutes before I go back to the salt mines. I see y'all are getting along just fine. One of my systems sort of died. Best to everyone and keep on crunchin' - D I don't know what kind of system you have, but you may be able to run it via VGA cable to a another monitor, or just run it headless and install some remote desktop system on it. Then just remote into it and you would not need a display. Good luck. Cheers

Then just remote into it and you would not need a display. Good luck. Cheers I agree. I have a laptop that someone brought me to fix. The screen (backlit gizmo) costs $179. So it was just too expensive to fix. They did not want it so I hooked up a VGA and did all the maintenance on it. Then got it on my wireless and put TeamViewer on it and now it just sits there crunching day in and day out without a display of any kind.  Good Sunday Morning Team Congratulations Everyone.
