Ok so a i know someone has probably asked this already but i wasnt able to find anything. I have an 8800GS and it doesnt seem that WCG ever uses it.
----------------------------------------My results are usually around 13-17 per day and 15000 points. Can anyone explain this. My friend gets much higher score than me and we have essentially the same set up except for graphics. He gets 150 results with like 120,000 points for 7 hours of run time. I have: Intel i5 2500k running at 4.0 ghz 8 GB Gksill 1866 mhz ram 500 GB Caviar blue HDD EVGA 8800GS gpu AsRock p67 Mobo. anymore info i'll be glad to tell you. The 8800 may have been missed on the blacklist. See http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewTopic.do?shortName=GPU#610 ... Sorry.
----------------------------------------edit: The start_up message/event log [top 35 lines or so] identifies if a card is at all recognized by BOINC and then specifies if it's got the technical prowess.
