Bad Work Unit

The WU E211459_706_C.31.C27H16S3Si.01314191.2.set1d06 is repeatedly erring out on numerous hosts. Fortunately it appears to quit immediately so no time is being lost.

Re: Bad Work Unit

Thanks gomeyer,
This is automatically reported to the staff after a large number of errors. I think that the trigger is 8 errors, though it may be more. I forget the exact number.

Thanks for being so alert!

The error with that work unit was caused by a problem with the original input files for it. The work unit has already reached the limit on the number of times it can error out, so it should not be sent to any more users.

Re: Bad Work Unit

We'll investigate what went wrong with that input - sorry about the problem! Nonetheless, considering the millions of workunits that we've already burned through, we think we have a quite decent error rate.

Re: Bad Work Unit

No harm, no foul. I wasn’t complaining, just saw this pop into my “error” box (an unusual event) and wanted to make sure that “somebody” was aware of it.

BTW, thanks for your frequent updates.
