No....it is the heatspreader plate covering the A64 core.......helps protect the core and aids heat dissipation

Here is the def. for I.H.S."An Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS) is the surface used to make contact between a heatsink or other thermal solution and a CPU or GPU processor." And yes Mr.Vaio I am at 54k and counting....I want to hit at least 60k by tonight... cool

I think someone should go down to the plant and throw a 'spanner in the works' - that should stop that inexorable charge to the top biggrin

It would not help as all of my computers are at the house....I tried a while back to get my company to just think about joining a dc project but the IT guy we have is a power controling idiot... cool

That would not work either because the UPS I have can run all my computers for at least 4 hours..And yes, I have run them that long on it just to test it out.... cool
