How important is contrast ratio? This one only has 500:1. I was led to believe that the higher the better. I've yet to buy my first LCD. I'm definitely in the market for one, though.

The higher the better...eg 700:1 but then higher specs = higher prices.

Guru had a couple of bigger workunits yesterday but today is looking much better with 18 results at the halfway point..Stats shall be updating soon... cool
