As far as PG&E electric power goes, I can hardly wait until this time of year through September as electricity gets to be really cheap with my Sungevity solar panels. Power is not my main concern with WCG. My main concern is being able to come up with enough cash to either improve my current systems or buy new ones.

I hear you, dkt. My actual electricity bill for 2012 was $57. It would have been over $3600 without the panels.
I paid Sungevity $1272 for the panels totaling $1308 for a years worth of electricity. That means I saved $2292 last year.
That's not even the best part. I have received $5000 in referral bonuses from Sungevity.
In reality, I haven't spent a dime of my own money on these panels or electricity in 2 1/2 years and right now the electric company owes me $64.
I'm very happy keeping these crunchers powered on and producing.

On the topic of other projects, has anyone seen anything on what's up with QMC? Last I saw, they were going to move their servers to another university but they've been offline for a good six weeks now! Did the moving van get taken out on the autobahn? or is this another Spinhenge?
