The most recent "Can't parse ..." and "No close tag in scheduler reply" errors occurred at 16/07/2013 16:39:33 (GMT+1), just before the first "Resent lost task ..." message. As a test, I've attempted to download further tasks and that has been successful, with no error messages. So I'm starting to believe that the safety checks have solved the problem, without a Detach being necessary (although that might have solved it more quickly). No WUs were harmed during the making of this thread. Nothing 'cattivo'. Well done, BOINC/WCG .
