Good morning everyone. ![]() D*mn missed ruby by 4 hours. ![]() Congrats Thargor on Diamond 5 globe. ![]() Dave if you do decide to indicate football teams put me down for the Wednesday. ![]() So I add a form on my stats site where you can register a favourite sports team - including ice hockey (DMNI) and F1 (RTS48) - and then I magically add it to your signature? Sounds plausible ![]() Actually, it would probably be a phrase of your choice, no longer than a certain number of characters. The only problem would be preventing forgery.

How about doing it by a forum post rather than a form?

How about doing it by a forum post rather than a form? 'cos that would require work on my part to transcribe the requests... but probably less effort in the long run, and no authentication problem... so yeah, good idea!

My favourite team is the Belfast Giants, no surprise there!.

Good Morning All
----------------------------------------I guess you already know my favorite sport. team and driver so put me down for F1 - Mercedes and LH44 (is that short enough?) and of course the colours need to be Silver and Cyan for Mercedes and red for the 44 in LH44. It's a nice idea but won't it clutter up the stats a bit?

Having thought about it, I think it would look a bit messy as Rod suggested. I could of course make the signature graphic truly enormous, or even, dare I say it, an animated GIF. I think I'll park that idea. I'm currently thinking about how to make the coloured border convey more information than it currently does.

Good (very early) morning all )it's still only 10pm here.
----------------------------------------I've just been watching the Olympics. Aren't we doing well! Andy Murray gave me a few pulse racing moments but he pulled through eventually. Two golds in the space of around an hour for Max Whitlock in a sport where no Briton has ever won gold - fantastic. Justin Rose winning gold in the golf - another nail biter down to the last putt. I'll sleep well tonight!

Good morning everyone.
----------------------------------------![]() It would seem that us Brits had really good day on Sunday, in one way I am sad that I missed most of the action. On another way I am glad because dear friends from Northern Ireland were visiting and much wine / beer was consumed at a local hostelry so no TV. When we got home I too tired & emotional (as they say) to watch three screens at the same time. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Aug 15, 2016 6:41:28 AM] |
