Re: Good morning everyone

Rod your chilli 23 is my heatwave, I think Ireland (North and South) would shrivel up to the size of the Isle of Man if we ever had 2 weeks of 30C weather.

DC Go Lewis! Though I do hope there are a number of challengers to make it more interesting.

My new glasses will be ready next week, it is awfully frustrating when you can't read your phone. Had to get the optician to read a text for me from my wife, it said, please pick me up some green, yellow and pink tampons and those overnight pads I like. No joke, we were both suitable embarresed. He did say he would try and priotise the manufacturing of my glasses.

Re: Good morning everyone

Formula 1 season starts next weekend. I of course will be rooting for Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes to get their fifth in a row double championship but other teams are looking very strong this year, Red Bull in particular.

Go Vettel!

Honestly Dave, I don't know how you can support a driver with a haircut like Sebastian's. I mean I know that Lewis has had some strange ones but nothing that could be applied with a pudding basin. Still, I suppose if he keeps his helmet on and ducks behind his Halo then we may forgive him. With a resurgent Red Bull I guess that we will not see him on the podium too often either.

I'm very sympathetic DMNI, honestly. However, I'm currently ROTFLMAO!

Re: Good morning everyone

Good Morning All,

Happy Easter Week to everyone. It looks like it's going to be relatively cool and dry here as we head firmly into Autumn. I'm keeping my eye on the Lemon/Mandarin tree in our condominium. It looks like it is going to fruit very well this year and I make a most wonderful marmalade from the fruit (10kg last year)

Re: Good morning everyone

Got my new glasses and I can see perfectly again. Feels really good to be able to read normally/, it was a huge pita.

Got a couple of computers I built for someone about 6yrs ago as the owners want me to do a thorough check of the hardware and a re-install of Linux, going to have them crunching for the better part of 2 weeks, one is an i5 and the other an i7.
Then I will do the same for my sisters newer i5. Every little helps.

Re: Good morning everyone

Good Morning All. I'm just shaking off a mild dose of man flu. I spent most of yesterday in bed (asleep) so it's a good job it's a bit cooler at the moment.
Having got my Sapphire for MIP I am now back on Open Zika (alongside SCC) to try and get 20y Diamond for both.

Re: Good morning everyone

Just finished some of the new OET Wu's which are taking between 8 and 10 hours with wildly varying credit scores.

scol5913 There is quite a bit of conversation about these WUs (and negative reaction) in the forums. As I have a 20y Diamond for this project, I am steering clear.

Re: Good morning everyone

I am taking the break for a couple of reasons. First, to get a couple of months without having to pay around 500 quid per month and secondly due to the fact that my wife is very seriously ill and I wish to concentrate on caring for her. It will take a few days to exhaust the cache on my server. Yes, in the words of the immortal bard, William Shwartzeneger, "I'll be back". ..

Sorry to hear about your wife's illness Tom. Hoping for a full and speedy recovery. Best of luck.
