Re: Stats Site Morning Updates

No I completely agree.

I guess if the guy was a CFD Crypto trader then that might be pretty realistic lol.

Re: Stats Site Morning Updates

an original Intel i7-920 with 12GB of RAM)

I bet that was pretty awesome back in the day, Thargor cool

It was pretty decent, back when I built it in about 2009 - from memory, the original spec was:

Motherboard: ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 (still in)
CPU: Intel i7-920 (still in)
RAM: 6GB DDR2-1066 (upgraded to 12GB DDR2-1333)
GPU: GTX 260 (upgraded to a GTX 460 then a GTX 670)
PSU: Enermax 850W modular (still in)
Case: Corsair Obsidian 800D (still in)

I can't remember what the situation was with storage, probably started out with a single 1TB drive - it's now got a 2TB Seagate Barracuda and a 4TB WD Gold (Steam library).

Re: Stats Site Morning Updates

Welcome JimButler - a really good community here. Keep crunching!

Well I got my second i9 driven Mac up and running (it was a 21.5" i3 Quad core before with 8GB of Ram) It is now an Octo Core i9 with hyper threading and a graphics card (chip) that supports GPU crunching. The memory was supposed to be 32GB but I ordered the wrong modules which means another big scary strip down. Last time I had a 1 cm rubber tube left over - I wonder what I will fail to return next time.

Re: Stats Site Morning Updates

Thanks for spotting that Jim. My server was broken. Every time I reboot my Synology NAS it seems to not bother to restart the reverse proxy, which basically means the website is working but you can't connect to it. Should be all fixed now.

Re: Stats Site Morning Updates

Afternoon all. Hope everyone is well.

Been a while since I've been here and in that time both AlanS and Tib Big D have gone screaming past me and off into the distance! Looking at the graphs on Dave's site is not good viewing wink
And AlanS, D is on about getting another machine setup here in the office. Means I'll have even less chance of catching him.
Especially with my machine getting exceeding few GPU units, when D says to me "I've just got 12 GP units". Grrrrrrr.

Nevermind, I'll keep trundling along.

And welcome aboard Abelstrome, laroxe and JimButler, good to have you with us.
