Re: SNURK and friends - Hop on to say hi

On n'aura pas réussit à atteindre le TOP 3, mais SNURK, j'espère que tu es content. Que même 4ème, ça veut dire qu'on est beaucoup à être contents des signatures que tu nous offres.

We will not have succeeded in reaching the TOP 3, but SNURK, I hope you are happy. That even 4th, it means that we are very happy to be satisfied with the signatures that you offer us.

Re: SNURK and friends - Hop on to say hi

And a very respectable result it is. biggrin
Thanks OldChap for digging up the stats for active members per team. It shows that we were indeed the underdog team.
A very big thanks to all crunchers (regulars and guests) for helping team SNURK and friends reach an unbelievable 4th place in the THOR challenge. Something that didn't look possible with such a small team! hugs
Looking at the team stats and seeing the progress surely put a big smile on my face every morning. I hope it did for all of you as well.
Some of you will fly out to other teams, challenges and goals, good luck with all that, and I hope to see you again some day here at SNURK and friends!!

Re: SNURK and friends - Hop on to say hi

Team SNURK and friends, it's been a pleasure to take this journey with you.
Believe me, I never imagined
Base Camp’s GRAND GALLA SNURK CELEBRATION trek
would take this direction and last for almost two months tongue
It has been great fun, and I hope everyone who took part
- permanent SNURK and friends members, temporary ones
- seasoned Base Campers, novice ones

enjoyed themselves and stayed with SNURK and friends
or went back to their home teams in the Base Camp way
with one of OldChap's smiles on their faces

I'm a little short of time these days, which helps keeping my post short and few, but I'll be back devilish
- and inundate this Forum with longish ones
Thank you everybody love struck

<Thank you in Dutch!!!!>

Re: SNURK and friends - Hop on to say hi

I put here also this graph, that when 100'000 hours becomes the reference, it is beautiful. I do not know how to say it differently.

Snurk and fellow friends

Enjoyed joining up for Thor... we was robbed!!
I have decided to hang around for a while since MRkermit has doomed me to perm #2 position at U of I team. crying crying. It is however secure (+9 years) so I plan to stay and kick some butt of contributors like me vs people with 10+ computers!!!! Plus I like the idea of an active team. The captain of old team has not returned result since 2013!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: SNURK and friends - Hop on to say hi

I've been drifting for a couple years without a team, might as well give back to the person who makes these wonderful signatures.

@Chase Tarson
That was my thought as well. Sounds like a good reason to me :)

Re: SNURK and friends - Hop on to say hi

Wow, 4th place. When we started this I had no idea it would turn out this good. I am so glad that so many turned out to pull for SNURK and Friends. I wish I hadn't been so busy this past week and had been able to enjoy it, but my machines were running full blast after I dropped a small load the first day.

I don't know where LM is setting up camp next, but I'd better start fueling up Escher-1.

Cheers coffee
