Well the finished tasks are uploading ok, however, not reporting and not sending new work. Eventually we will all have a bunch of ready to reports!

... and no announcement in the Known Issues [read only] thread yet. I wonder does anyone at the server end know? Datacentre staff may not monitor the WCG server programs. Hope there's a WCG tech on weekend duty ...
This sort of event is why I like to run a cache of at least 1 day's work. My team's recommendation is 3 days, but that's a bit long. I've been running 1.1d on most of my machines, but just before this outage I reduced that to 1.0d on my 2 3770K machines in order to increase the ratio of CEP2 WUs (at the max fixed value of 16) to FAAH WUs now that the CEP2s have become shorter  |

Do not remember if the feeder server is part of the farm in Toronto or not, but if so, some poor Canadian bloke has probably just been shaken out of his REM sleep to fix this. I do not miss those days.
