They did something at the speed of light so relativistically an infinite amount was accomplished in no time flat. laughing

Re: work unit finished in 0.0 hours

Hello littlepeaks,
The computer did something. The question is whether it discovered an error in the manufacture of work units, an error in the program or an error in the algorithm (an unspecified case). Let the scientists and the WCG staff sort it out.

biggrin Though I would like an eventual mention on the forum of what causes this, if only for my entertainment.

Re: work unit finished in 0.0 hours

Maybe I should disconnect the flux capacitor from the CPU to see if that changes things.

No, keep it connected. Your system runs much faster if you have one of those. You must not have it hooked up correctly since you should get the results before you start processing. Someone put one in their car and tested it here at the shopping mall near my house several years ago.

Cheers coffee

Re: work unit finished in 0.0 hours

Jonathan, FWIW, have had multiple MCM that ran for 5 seconds. Rounding on the Result Status page makes numbers turn 0.00 on time and credit, but together with wingman they do validate.
