I run 12.04 Desktop and I've been getting CEP2 work units steadily over the past several days (running two currently and have one in the hopper)

I'm not getting any CEP2 wu's on Ubuntu... Are there any CEP2 WU's available for this platform? 'Presuming' you've checked all min.reqs are met, and the device profile is set to allow 2 or more CEP2 [to overcome any initial BW mis-measurement issue], there's nothing you can do. This has been posted on one too many times for my taste without a resolution. Mine was... they just suddenly started coming after about 36 hours while computing on FAHV. It's some misgiving server config, and seemingly always happening to new Linux installs. The platform question is NA. The first copy of a production task is NOT locked to any OS. This only applies to additional copies of same task and relates to homogeneous redundancy checking. If there is only work that's locked to other platforms, an appropriate message would be provided, something like "There is work ... but assigned to other platforms". |

I'm posting only to have a link to a solution to this problem in this thread: installing 32-bit libraries in Ubuntu 64-bit
