Errors upon completion of every CEP2 WU

After a hiatus of many months I started using BOINC again to complete some WU, and CEP2 is my go-to project. But since restarting, every single CEP2 WU has an error in validation, not to mention getting an event log that looks like this constantly:

At any given time, I have upwards of 8 CEP2 WU running (if less than 8, then some other project is filling up the difference). My settings are such that 90% of 10 GB of RAM is available, as is 85% of CPU time, and I have the option selected to leave applications in memory while suspended.

Anyone have any ideas what could be happening? I should also mention that WU from every other project finish with no errors, so only CEP2 is having a problem.

Thanks in advance!

Ryan

Re: Errors upon completion of every CEP2 WU

Your problem is VERY LIKELY, the simul-start of too many CEP2. See this thread where I just expanded, with a workaround to slowly start them one by one: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,35834

Re: Errors upon completion of every CEP2 WU

You don't mention what OS you are using. Because Cep2 is a very heavy I/O user, your system may not be able to handle the number of Cep2 units you are running at the same time. Try cutting back the number of CEP2 units you have running at any one time and see if this alleviates the problem. See SekeRobs post at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/...834_lastpage,yes#lastpost
Cheers

Re: Errors upon completion of every CEP2 WU

I'm using Windows. The odd thing is that back before my hiatus, I was running 8 CEP2 WU with no problem! I crunched through them fast and furious.

But I'll try your idea SekeRob and just let a couple CEP2 WU run simultaneously and fill the other slots with something else and see if that helps.

Thanks!
