I have not been able to download anything on my Windows 7 computers today. I keep getting the message: Internet connection OK-project servers may be temporarily down.
----------------------------------------I have tried resetting the project, but no luck. All of the downloads go into pending mode, and then project backoff, back to pending, but nothing downloads or runs. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Dec 23, 2013 3:43:07 AM] |

I had the issue, too. But it seemed to be fixed after I just canceled all pending downloads and restarted the program. This didn't affect CEP, though.

Seems to be fixed for me. It was failing to download earlier, but now both MCM and FAAH tasks properly downloaded. Although, seems that some downloads took a long time to start, so it's probably not 100% fixed yet.
Increased my max queue so an outage like this doesn't affect me as much later. Lost out on several hours of computation. Oh well. |

Hello tino1980,
how can I increase my max queue? This is also called cache or work buffer. Select Settings in the upper right, then (Selected Profile). Under Workunit Cache Settings, change "Cache 0.0 extra days of work" to 0.1, 0.2 or some similar number. Each 0.1 days adds 2.4 hours to your cache. Be careful or you will have problems when some work unit takes longer to run than expected and your scheduler suddenly goes into emergency mode.Lawrence |

FYI: The download issue seems to be resolved.

FYI: The download issue seems to be resolved. Yes, everything is working fine for me too. ![]() Thanks, Lawrence, for the work buffer advice. I thought it worked the other way around! (That the buffer kept you from getting additional work. I did not know that by increasing the buffer, you can increase your queue of work units.)
