Is it possible to download BOINC onto a Tablet running Windows 8?
----------------------------------------I have tried, using the Win8 download, but get a message that the Tablet does not run this App. Seems a shame if it's not possible.

Hold up, first.... is this an x86/64 based tablet or are you referring to the ARM based version? Some people throw out the name Windows 8 when they mean RT? If you have RT, then the answer is no. If it is in fact the x86/64 version, then yes you can install BOINC on it. However, you didn't say where you were downloading "the Win8 download" from. WCG's version of BOINC is not yet compatible. Make sure you are downloading the appropriate version directly from Berkeley. http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download_all.php
