LAN party's over
----------------------------------------Was excellent Lost DSL line yesterday at 15:30, engineers fixed it by 1:30am this morning, PPP errors til 9:30, leaving an hour and a half to set up everything. Complete success, games went well, no connection issues, no lag... only problem was gamers baking in the conservatory - solved by moving into another room... Great time had by all, with 11 hours of gaming being played in 12 hours So good, the next one is planned for August 31st, and the one after that on October 7th... and now the stats... Metres of cable used: 54 Max connection speed around LAN: 100meg Max Internet connection speed: 2meg Max Ping: 85 Best game: Rome Total War Worst game: Need for speed underground 2 Pizzas ate: 4 Total Units of alcohol consumed: 15 Hottest temperature (ambient): 34deg Hottest CPU: 79deg (AMD) Players: 6 Computers: 7 edit: XP-90 arriving by monday next week probably [Edit 2 times, last edit by Former Member at Aug 17, 2005 11:01:16 PM] |
