This is my favorite project and I had previously crunched to reach sapphire, but have now returned and noticed that the credits are not behaving normally. It´s disappointing.
----------------------------------------I have crunched several units taking 18 to 20 hours that claim and receive 64.9 boinc credits. The normal credits would be what? Around 360 to400? It is far from that. Here's a list of wu, cpu time, credit granted and average credit per hour: E218725_ 330_ I.50.C42H22N6O2.00378260.3.set1d06_ 0-- 18 64,9 3,605555556 E218725_ 332_ I.50.C45H22N4O.00113095.2.set1d06_ 0-- 18 64,9 3,605555556 E218725_ 573_ I.50.C45H22N4O.00311830.2.set1d06_ 0-- 18 64,9 3,605555556 E218725_ 746_ I.50.C40F4H22N4O2.00337651.4.set1d06_ 1-- 18 64,9 3,605555556 E218739_ 642_ I,51,C38H20N4O9,00335681,1,set1d06_ 2-- 18 64,9 3,605555556 E218740_ 744_ I,50,C45H23N5,00056020,1,set1d06_ 1-- 18 64,9 3,605555556 E218740_ 899_ I,50,C45H23N5,00428328,3,set1d06_ 1-- 18 64,9 3,605555556 E218735_ 674_ I,51,C42H19N7OS,00383029,0,set1d06_ 2-- 17,82 64,9 3,641975309 E218689_ 424_ I,50,C37H20N4O9,00011432,1,set1d06_ 1-- 18 192,5 10,69444444 E218735_ 895_ I,51,C42H19N7OS,00183809,0,set1d06_ 2-- 18 269,7 14,98333333 E218689_ 703_ I,49,C37F3H22N5O3S,00350404,0,set1d06_ 2-- 0,84 13,3 15,83333333 E218689_ 619_ I,50,C45H20N4O,00009205,4,set1d06_ 1-- 17,2 272,9 15,86627907 E218738_ 736_ I,51,C36H20N6O9,00022533,3,set1d06_ 1-- 18 302,5 16,80555556 E218689_ 254_ I,50,C41H20N4O5,00012734,3,set1d06_ 1-- 18 319,1 17,72777778 E218740_ 760_ I,50,C45H23N5,00097498,0,set1d06_ 1-- 17,05 321,2 18,83870968 E218671_ 737_ K,18,C13FH7N2SSe,00060009,0,set1d06_ 1-- 4,39 84,6 19,27107062 E218689_ 482_ I,50,C43H20N6O,00427162,2,set1d06_ 1-- 18 352,5 19,58333333 E218739_ 327_ I,51,C40H20N4O7,00379111,4,set1d06_ 1-- 18 361,1 20,06111111 E218695_ 190_ I,51,C35F6H17N5O4S,00066791,0,set1d06_ 2-- 18 371,6 20,64444444 E218689_ 817_ I,49,C39F3H23N2O5,00355169,3,set1d06_ 2-- 18 385,2 21,4 E218659_ 826_ K,18,C16FH11O,00093623,4,set1d06_ 1-- 4,64 103,3 22,26293103 E218671_ 296_ K,17,C13FH9SSeSi,00038500,0,set1d06_ 1-- 4,92 113,8 23,1300813 E218670_ 401_ K,18,C14FH7OSSe,00043935,4,set1d06_ 1-- 4,58 115,7 25,26200873 E218724_ 644_ I.51.C38F5H19N4O4.00276407.4.set1d06_ 0-- 0,95 28,1 29,57894737 E218690_ 780_ I,48,C46H26O2,00198775,4,set1d06_ 2-- 15,87 501 31,56899811 E218689_ 458_ I,50,C43H20N6O,00417321,1,set1d06_ 1-- 18 579 32,16666667 E218710_ 379_ I,52,C36F6H16N6O4,00318223,2,set1d06_ 1-- 0,93 64,9 69,78494624 E218740_ 042_ I,50,C37F5H22N5O2S,00375484,0,set1d06_ 1– 0,71 66,6 93,8028169 [Edit 1 times, last edit by ccandido at Jan 14, 2014 10:08:45 PM] |

Hey everyone,
There are a few things going on, some of the members who are claiming X points but getting Y is due to how they are calculated. Each task for CEP2 has 15 jobs within it. Say you are able to complete all 15 but your wingman is only able to complete the first one, this would cause the credit to be higher in your favor generally. This project is different then the others because it gives credit based on jobs completed which may not always match between two wingman. We are currently working on upgrading the backend server code, which would change the way credit is granted. Since this is coming down the pipe in the future, our priority is to get it out the door first. As many of you know, I can not give a timetable on that, but I can tell you we are testing it now. Thank you for your patience. -Uplinger |

Thanks for the update.
----------------------------------------Credit issues between wingman completing different amount of a task is one issue, but I see different problems too. For example a machine spending 13.58 hours on a task (E218703_ 147_ I.51.C40H18N6O5.00347788.0.set1d06_ 2--) claims only 64.9 points. That's not a 486DX-33, but an i7-3820 (SNB-E). So that claimed credit isn't OK either. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Mumak at Jan 16, 2014 4:03:12 PM] |
