Hi,
I've got a couple servers running Ubuntu 13.10. with BOINC 7.2.7 but I can't seem to get them to crunch CEP. The error message is "No tasks are available for The Clean Energy Project - Phase 2" which is odd because my MacBook gets boatloads. FAAH and MCM work without any problems. Does anybody have any experience with that and is able to help me? Thanks! Jan |

I think I just found out... CEP does not provide a 64bit version and I'm running BOINC 64bit. I'll try adding the libraries mentioned in http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Installing_on_Linux#64_Bit_Considerations and hope for the best.
----------------------------------------EDIT: It worked. In case somebody has the same problem: with Ubuntu 13.10 64bit run the following command and restart BOINC: sudo apt-get install lib32z1 lib32ncurses5 lib32bz2-1.0 libstdc++6 freeglut3 libstdc++5 libstdc++5:i386 [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jan 20, 2014 1:59:22 PM] |

Hmm, I thought you should be able to run the 32bit version in the 64bit BOINC, but I might be wrong. Maybe the IBM team can chime in on this.
Best wishes, Your CEP team |

You can run 32bit apps in BOINC 64bit and vice versa.
----------------------------------------What Linux 64bit requires is the 32bit libraries which I believe can also be obtained with the GCC Compiler. AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 4C/8T 3.2 GHz - 85W AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W Intel Z3740 4C/4T 1.8 GHz - 6W |
