I've joined the WCG a week ago, and my laptop says that the project is about 70% complete, but the website says I haven't connected for even a split second.
I tried looking at the FAQ forums but I came up empty-handed... Does anyone know what is going on here or any way to help me? |

The Website will not show anything until you complete the WU, report it and have it validated...........

If it's your first work unit that is at 70% then it needs to complete first, and then your points should start soon after that.

It sounds like one of the long ones if it's been on for a week, is it CEP2?

It sounds like one of the long ones if it's been on for a week, is it CEP2? It could also be MCM1 which has been known to throw up the occasional extra long task. In addition to the WU type CEP2/MCM1/FAAH/FAAV please post the following: In BOINC Mgr under the tasks tab, highlight the WU that's running and select Properties from the l/h sidebar. If you report these 3 figures advice can be given whether there's a problem. |
