I finally installed BOINC on my phone

I think I'll also install it on the tablet I never seem to use.

I installed it last night and it was incredibly simple. I really like that it doesn't even give you the option to run it on battery power.

So I went to check it this morning and the charger had turned off. I try to use X10 motion sensors all over the house to turn off lights when no one is around and this morning, as I walked into the television room and heard all of the lights clicking on, I realized that the charger was probably plugged into one of the controlled circuits. Will have to fix that.

It had crunched one FAHV wu but I assume it could have done more if I'd let it stay connected all night.

I have it running on two tablets power up at night and let them run off battery during the day myself.

Re: I finally installed BOINC on my phone

I purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro last year and it has a Quad Processor in it and it runs WCG fine running 24/7. No problems at all and I love Windows 8. The USB3 port on it is very useful.

I ran the WCG on it for about 3 weeks 24/7 when I first bought it to make sure that it can run properly on WCG and it did run properly and then quit WCG but I'm back on WCG now with my Microsoft Surface Pro and again, it's running great.

WCG will run fine on Microsoft's Tablets due to them having internal fans in them. I do not know if WCG will run properly in other Tablets because all my friends that have Tablets are not running WCG on them but, in my opinion, I think WCG should be okay running on most Tablets.
