I was looking into this too...

I looked at Amazon cloud thingy, however, it fell at the first hurdle for me as Amazon are not setup to use the 'Security code' on credit cards and UK banks require them, thus unable to confirm bank details, so can't progress the investigations.

However, they do offer a basic 'computer' free for the first year, then you can buy other services with the cost depending on what resources and data storage and transfer you require.

Will be looking into options again when time permits...
