Re: can't see stats for one of my devices
Ctrl-Shift+E does nothing.
I often read members (and maybe even Sekerob when he was still here) giving the tip Ctrl+Shift+E to display the event log.
However, since messages are displayed in a separate window (version 7 ?) it has always been Shift+E for me, and this is conform to the shortcut mentioned in the drop-down menu.
Is Shift+E specific to Linux and Ctrl+Shift+E to Windows, or is there another explanation ?

PS: And to clear any possible doubt, Ctrl+Shift+E under Linux does nothing at all for me.

It's certainly Ctrl+Shift+E in Windows BOINC v7 to display the event log.

PS JmB you might like to amend the typo in your line ending "or is there another explanation" before you're banned from the forum devilish

- cmd+E does nothing on my Mac OS X 10.9.3 (BOINC 7.0.65), cmd+shift+E brings Event log up.
- ctrl+E does nothing on my Win7 SP1-64b (BOINC 7.2.42), ctrl+shift+E brings Event log up.

I did as you suggested; I added because the forum listed several projects that were created for the team to start using. I haven't changed any usernames. I too recognized about the core names and after reading through one of the original FAQs = Nvidia CUDA & ATI Stream (CAL) FAQ, I cleared my local prefs, rebooted and now it's reading 100% of my cores, I've never had trouble with the devices, there have been a few times when I received commincation warnings that they hadn't received data from me and suggested some tweak but I haven't received that yet, and 'default' does show if I go and select 'all' and 'all' as choices and I can click on it and the device stats show there, just doesn't display when I initially open as you see on my previous post. Sorry it took so long to reply

it's always ran before with those shares. I can't seem to get abc@home to change to 4, even though I do it the same way I've done it as the others, I will eliminate from my projects.

The reason you have so few badges is the fact you have far too many projects for one machine. If your pref is for medical to help humanity, bin everything apart from WCG and your badges will increase when we have more new projects to crunch...... wink

Good, you've successfully downloaded an MCM task for WCG. Without micro-managing it, you'll have to wait until it gets processed, uploaded and reported before you know if it's been successful. Doh, I wasn't concentrating; you've downloaded basic image files for WCG, but BOINC calculates that your cache is full enough for the amount of processing you're able to achieve:
...
World Community Grid | Not requesting tasks: don't need
...

However, you haven't mentioned why you have this setting:
...
suspend work if non-BOINC CPU load exceeds 25%
...

It's causing this:
...
Suspending computation - CPU is busy
...

Is the 25% setting because you know that a less restrictive setting causes problems when you try to use the machine? If not, read and act on the WCG FAQ BOINC: How to enforce Maximum Output for a device and the WCG Help item How do I get the software to use 100% of the available CPU? (in the WCG Help Troubleshooting section).
