I have a problem with one of my crunchers. For some reason it is finishing the wu's in less than 3 minutes. Some stop after a computation error but most validated just fine.
----------------------------------------But when I look at the Results Status page I see that almost all moved from Valid to PV or Error. This is on an i7-4770k at stock speeds on Linux Mint 17. It was Ubuntu 14.04 before but did a new install today to see if that changed anything. And Boinc 7.2.42 I was running 2 wu's at a time. And other cruncher is doing just fine with an i7-2600k on Mint 13. Any idea what could be wrong here or where to start looking?  |

Locate one of the CEP WUs that errored out in Result Status
----------------------------------------C+P the WU details then click on Error in the status column and C+P the whole of the resulting popout window. That should provide the information necessary to give advice on the problem. |

That is what I thought when I looked at the info I posted. But I could find anything or figure out how to fix this.
----------------------------------------As this is mainly a dedicated cruncher it was easier to reinstall and start over. This time I used the Mint software manager to install Boinc, instead of the Berkeley Installer. So far it looks good. The CEP2 wu's didn't stop within 3 minutes and are crunched over one hour without problems. |
