Sometimes things go thermal-nuclear leaving no traces or credit behind (just a warm cpu). Some (myself included) are left wondering how the last couple beta runs have been completed and some of us ended up with a 'baseball' perfect game (no hits-from WUs, no (WUs) runs, no (WUs) errors) - even in my case when I'm generally running my laptop most of those nights when some beta action happened to pop up. I even took a shower every one of those days and no beta singles action. No beta love for this little cruncher....Such is life....... ![]() Everyone of us (OK, let say, "majority of us") is aware it is a beta and the results might end as in this wave. But I do expect to be credited for them regardless of outcome. Because I let my PC works for the project's risky trial. And I have always posted my insights to the techs to help them solving the problems arose from such risky trials (also known as Betas). Can I claim the credits for such help? I think so. Otherwise, it is just a cherrypicking on this project. Cheers ![]() ![]() Crunching@Home since January 13 2000.
